The Centre for Teaching and Learning Technology (CTLT) will be running their workshop โAccessible Active Learningโ for Biology TAs on October 8th Wednesday.
By the end of this session, TAs will:
- Appreciate the value and impact of increasing accessibility in their classrooms.
- Identify different kinds of barriers that their students may face in their classrooms.
- Develop strategies to adjust/implement accessible active learning techniques (i.e.: leading discussions, labs, small group activities, etc.).
- Develop strategies to be able to redesign activities to accommodate unexpected accessibility needs.
