CTLT/TADA Classroom Climate TA Training workshop

The Centre for Teaching and Learning Technology (CTLT) will be running their workshop โ€œAccessible Active Learningโ€ for Biology TAs on October 8th Wednesday.

By the end of this session, TAs will:

  • Appreciate the value and impact of increasing accessibility in their classrooms.
  • Identify different kinds of barriers that their students may face in their classrooms.
  • Develop strategies to adjust/implement accessible active learning techniques (i.e.: leading discussions, labs, small group activities, etc.).
  • Develop strategies to be able to redesign activities to accommodate unexpected accessibility needs.

Venue: Michael Smith Laboratories, MSL room 101 
*there will be coffee and pastries!
